Forgotten game

I have been following the forum but never have posted. One play that seems to have been overlooked is the New Mexico State game. Though they cant seem to finish a game they will build a big enough lead tonight to easily cover this game. You can take that to the bank

I've been looking at this one too splitt. I always like to look at the run game. NMS has a good run game with 4.3 ypr. LA Laf. gives up 5.4 ypr! They won't be able to contain the rush and that means NMS will control the line of scrimmage.

UL Laf. doesn't run well either, they are mostly a passing team. NMS has a respectable pass defense giving up an average of 186 yds./game.

LA Laf did come close to Houston, losing 21-14. But Houston had 5 turnovers in that game and still won.

ULA-La also coming off loss to cross state rival UL-monroe. Big game in the state for bragging rights. I wonder what the emotional psyche will be having only a couple days to get ready for the game. Definate lean to NMSU and that wacky option attack. ULA-La gives up 5.42 yd/att on the ground. Facing option team that could mean trouble.
